Network Administrator

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:

Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values.

Design, implement, document, and maintain network infrastructure to support the company's operations.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.

Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other technology components.

Lead network-related projects to improve infrastructure and support business objectives.

Conduct regular network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Provide technical support and guidance to IT peers on network-related issues.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in network administration.

Assist with general system administration tasks such as server management, patch management and on-call rotations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: include but are not limited to:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

2-4 years of experience in network administration.

Advanced certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent preferred.

1-2 years' experience in cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) preferred.

Proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SDWAN, and VPNs.

Experience working with telecom vendors on troubleshooting, ordering, changing, replacing, and disconnecting services.

Experience with various network hardware from vendors such Cisco, Meraki, WatchGuard, SonicWall.

Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.

Experience with network security practices and technologies.

Familiarity with system administration tasks outside of network administration.

Familiarity with datacenter hardware, server operating systems, virtualization, and BCDR practices.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Exceptional focus on customer service required.

Some travel required.
