Currently, **ManTech** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Process Improvement Specialist** to join our team in the **DMV area.** We have opportunities in the **Washington, DC area** as well as **Northern Virginia and Maryland** . **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

The Process Improvement Specialist supports quality management activities. They have experience with CMMI for development and services; ISO 9000; root-cause analysis and corrective action development; process auditing and procedure compliance; conducting quality inspections of products and deliverables; process development activities; JCIDS document development; and the Technology Data Package Design process. They identify risks and support mitigation planning. They are assigned work by the Continual Improvement Manager and complete those assignments in support of the projects. The Process Improvement Specialist is a journeyman experienced in various areas of Continual Improvement for products and deliverables. The Process Improvement Specialist takes direction from more senior personnel.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

+ A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

+ 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Relevant industry standard certifications such as Quality Assurance (ASQ) Certification.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations _._

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,900-$134,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation. ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
