Sr. SCCM Systems Administrator (Top Secret Clearance Required)

As a Senior SCCM Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SCCM, demonstrating a deep understanding of system administration, deployment, and configuration management in a large enterprise environment. This is a 6 month contract to direct hire and requires an active Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
SCCM Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
Manage and troubleshoot SCCM site hierarchy, distribution points, and software update points.
Application Packaging and Deployment:
Create, test, and deploy software packages using SCCM.
Collaborate with application owners and development teams to ensure seamless deployment and compatibility.
Operating System Deployment (OSD):
Develop and maintain standardized OS deployment images and task sequences.
Implement and manage OS deployment strategies for different hardware platforms.
Patch Management:
Oversee the patch management process, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of security and software updates.
Evaluate and test patches to minimize system downtime and maintain system security.
Configuration Management:
Implement and maintain configuration baselines and compliance settings.
Work closely with security teams to ensure systems comply with organizational security policies.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of SCCM infrastructure.
Generate regular reports on SCCM activities, compliance, and system health.
$60 - $72 an hour
