About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs with a focus on liver disease to lead the strategic and tactical medical planning in preparation for a potential launch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of medical affairs programs, including KOL engagement, medical education, and support for regulatory and market access activities. This role requires a candidate with a medical degree, VP of Medical Affairs experience, a proven track record in departmental build-out, and significant launch experience as a medical affairs lead. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with cross-functional teams and be prepared to be on-site at the company's office 2-3 times a week.Applicants for the Vice President of Medical Affairs position at the company should be prepared for a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves culture and be a strong cultural fit for the organization. The role demands a leader who can bring a high level of expertise and a proactive approach to the medical affairs function, with a focus on building and maintaining key relationships both internally and externally.
