Job Description
Designs need to be developed for the engineering department based on three-dimensional thinking and technical understanding.
You will work directly under engineers to deliver drawings for scaffolding projects in a timely manner. After training you will support the sales team with designs and material lists to be used to bid on projects.
You will also be involved in developing new solutions and custom parts to meet the customer needs in a wide variety of industries.
Finally, you will perform tasks in the process of projects including but not limited to preparing plans, construction drawings and step by step instructions for our customers.
Requirements
AS in Engineering, Construction or Drafting and Design is required.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (PDF's) and Google Earth.
Ability to work on multiple projects under the guidance of project managers / engineers / lead designers.
Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to read and understand construction documents such as, drawings, sketches, 3D representations, etc.
Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation.
Ability to retain information, details, procedures for use on future projects.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Performs wells in a team environment, must be willing to adapt to the procedures in place.
