CAD Technician

As a CAD Technician, you will create electronic design plans using computer software and work closely with Engineers to turn blueprints and technical drawings into 2D/3D computer models.
Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties: Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
Drafting and design work for a variety of projects across multiple disciplines
Working in structural detailing, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, and other associated items
Create/Modify technical drawings of roads, bridges, pipelines, etc.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure that the drawings are correct and represent the design accurately
Compiling and maintaining the entire plan set of technical drawings
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies: Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D and Bentley/Microstation, required
Manage project data files from various sources
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Associate degree or equivalent technical degree, a plus
3-6 years’ experience
