Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY CMD, MICECP. Responsibilities Independently performs technical review of both current year execution versus current year projections and prior year execution versus current year execution. Provides advice and guidance to management officials on budgetary process and budget matters. Serves as Agency Program Coordinator in overseeing the government Travel Charge Card program by providing orientation, guidance, and training to Charge Card users. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience with Budget Analysis specific to providing advice and guidance relating to budgetary processes, monitoring the allocation of funds, and analyzing budgetary execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-9) OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.
