Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline design, data processing, and data warehousing. The successful candidate will work closely with our data scientists, software developers, and business analysts to design and implement scalable data solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of data in real-time and batch modes.
Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes using modern data storage and processing technologies.
Work closely with data scientists, software developers, and business analysts to design and implement data solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability by designing and implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines and data storage systems to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related issues and opportunities.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering, and continuously improve our data architecture and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data pipeline design, data processing, and data warehousing.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Strong knowledge of modern data storage and processing technologies
Experience with cloud-based data processing and storage platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#/.NET, Python, or other similar languages.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

NCS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Unlimited PTO, 401K packages, and a hybrid work schedule. Office attire is casual, and our atmosphere is more relaxed than the typical corporation.
Salary Range: $80,000 – $105,000, depending on experience.
