Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead and manage our Marketing team. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with Tessolve’s business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a robust marketing background and extensive experience managing a variety of promotional projects from start to finish, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, the VP of Marketing will oversee internal marketing teams and play a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic planning.
To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional and ensure that the Marketing department's activities contribute to our company’s long-term success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness. Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
Work closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies specifically for lead generation
Specifically develop and execute a digital marketing strategy to drive online traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
Own all the internal marketing collaterals and content creations
Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies
Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the executive team
Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
Design and review the Marketing department’s budget
Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director, or 10yrs+ in a senior marketing role
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
In-depth knowledge of market research
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
Effective team management and leadership abilities
