**The Role**

Join Lumen as a Pricing Analyst and help us shape the future of cloud-based services. You will develop and implement pricing strategies for services such as NaaS, Lumen Edge, Lumen Private Cloud, AI Ops, and more. You will also monetize our API based services and align pricing with product features and benefits. You will monitor and analyze market trends, create market-based pricing models, utilize costs models to determine profitability, and communicate pricing updates to internal stakeholders.

**The Main Responsibilities**

+ Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies and commercial models for the Lumen Network Cloud services

+ The successful candidate will have a strong background and proven experience in developing data backed, cloud-based, consumption pricing models

+ Define pricing and commercial strategies to monetize our API based services

+ Cross functional collaboration with Product teams to ensure pricing is aligned with product features and benefits

+ Analyze costs and profitability to ensure pricing is aligned with company goals

+ Communicate pricing strategies and updates to internal stakeholders

+ Monitor competitive and market trends and adjust pricing accordingly

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field

+ 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy at a SaaS company

+ Knowledge of cloud SaaS business models and pricing strategies

+ Experience and understanding of datacenter and cloud providers

+ Highly analytical and experienced in data analysis and interpretation

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Strong project management skills and ability to work and influence cross-functionally

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other pricing tools

**Compensation**

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

**Location Based Pay Ranges**

**$94420 - $125890** in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

**$99390 - $132510** in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

**$104360 - $139140** in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

**$109330 - $145770** in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
