Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced and skilled Web Developer with expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building desktop applications, particularly with experience in developing Office add-ins, using WPF/XAML, and ensuring accessibility compliance. As a Web Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality desktop applications that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, particularly WPF/XAML.
Create and enhance Office add-ins to extend the functionality of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement user interface designs and interactions using WPF/XAML, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Ensure accessibility compliance of desktop applications, following industry standards and best practices (e.g., WCAG, Section 508).
Optimize desktop applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or end users, and provide timely resolutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in desktop development, and accessibility.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in desktop application development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
Strong proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET Framework.
Demonstrated experience in developing Office add-ins using technologies such as VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) or Office JavaScript APIs.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, and experience in implementing accessibility features in desktop applications.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with designers.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for desktop applications.
Clearance : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
