Mission
Directing the procurement, provisioning and purchase of certain goods, equipment and services, in accordance with the strategic guidelines of the Board, specific requirements of the Business Units, the procedures and standards defined at CJR Renewables, in order to guarantee the supply necessary for production in quantity, quality and within the previously agreed deadlines, as well as at the most economically advantageous price/value and below the stipulated budgets.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
✓ Define the procurement, purchasing and sourcing strategy and analyse price requests and technical information associated with goods, equipment and services;
✓ Analysing proposals for the purchase of goods, equipment and services in terms of the three main parameters: price, term and payment conditions, in order to carry out and direct market consultations to obtain quotations;
✓ Supervising the elements and quotations for goods, equipment and services in the Comparison Maps, in order to obtain the approval of the Business Unit and subsequent final decision by the Board of Directors;
✓ Define the drafting of the respective procurement contract for goods, equipment and services, in conjunction with the Legal Department and the Business Units, in order to ensure compliance and defence of the agreed parameters, interests and conditions;
✓ Ensure and supervise the entry of Purchase Orders in SAP for goods, equipment and services, in order to send them to the respective suppliers and service providers;
✓ Manage and plan the entire process of acquiring goods, equipment and services, import and export documentary credits, taking into account national and international legislation in the geographies where they operate, in order to comply with all legal requirements and delivery deadlines;
✓ Supervising that pre-payments are made under the contractual conditions, in order to ensure cost control with acquisitions;
✓ Ensure the planning and implementation of monitoring, measurement, analysis and improvement processes, as well as the collection of data necessary to demonstrate service/product conformity and continuously improve the effectiveness of the QMS;
✓ Work with Compliance to ensure compliance with ongoing programs;
✓ Adopt behaviours and attitudes in line with the organization's values to achieve the company's mission and vision;
✓ Comply with and promote the principles established in the Integrated Management Policy (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) and the procedures of the Management System approved in the Organization;
✓ Actively contribute to the development, innovation and continuous improvement of processes and the Management System.
✓ Supervising the purchasing process in accordance with the defined strategy and guidelines, ensuring the acquisition of materials that fulfil the required requirements;
✓ Defining the market approach and overseeing relations with the company's suppliers;
✓ Ensuring internal processes, receiving and analysing purchase orders;
✓ Ensure the supplier process and decision-making in requests for quotes;
✓ Monitoring relations and negotiations with clients and preparing project specifications;
✓ Ensuring the improvement of the purchasing system/process;
✓ Analysing and monitoring departmental KPIs;
✓ Benchmark and analyse trends, new products and suppliers;
✓ Evaluate the performance of suppliers and ensure that they fulfil the defined requirements;
✓ Submitting a comparative map for approval by the Board;
✓ Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering University Degree and 7 years of experience in a similar role.
