Job Description
Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team responsible for supporting the marketing analytics team with the development and implementation of reporting, processes, operations, documentation, and governance. This role will work closely with the marketing analytics team to understand their needs and requirements, and to translate those needs into actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing analytics, as well as experience in business analysis, process improvement, and documentation.
You will be responsibile for:
Support the development and implementation of marketing analytics reporting.
This includes working with the marketing and analytics teams to define the requirements for reports, developing the reports, and ensuring that the reports are accurate and timely.
Improve marketing analytics processes.
This includes identifying and addressing inefficiencies in the marketing analytics process, propose and develop solutions to streamline and optimize marketing analytics operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Administer marketing analytics governance.
This includes ensuring that the marketing teams are following the company's data governance policies, as well as developing new policies and procedures as needed.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.
Project Management
Lead and participate in projects related to marketing analytics, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective communication with project stakeholders.
Manage project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support developing projects and deliverables
Continuous Learning and Industry Awareness
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, marketing analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.
Share knowledge and insights with the marketing analytics team and contribute to the development of analytical capabilities within the organization.
The qualifications you bring:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in marketing analytics or data-driven environments.
3+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Business Analysis / Data Management / Insights.
Familiarity with data governance and documentation best practices.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the acumen to be aware and act on any issues that need to be reported.
Proven experience in managing across several concurrent projects and activities.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting requirements.
High level of experience working with Digital Analytics software (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Experience in process improvement and implementation.
Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills with a willingness to continuously learn and challenge oneself.
It would be advantage to have one or more of the following certifications:
PMP® or PRINCE2® Certification
CMMI® Associate Certification
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP®)
Formal Education:
The ideal candidate should have a BS and/or MS in areas such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Science or similar; plus 4 years of experience in business analysis. Or at least 6 years’ worth of work experience in business analysis.
