Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Keep the customer-facing services available at top performance by maintaining the constant health of the supporting systems, leveraging ERP and CRP systems. Act in key response roles during major incidents e.g., Sev0, Sev1. Also, participate in the technical review of the incident for problem management. Work to automate detection and resolution of recurring issues in the production environment. Populate in participate in problem management (Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and hand them off to the Global Solutions team. Being available to discuss and resolve technical issues and escalations with other technical staff as required. Work with and lead other members of the team in staying on top of key industry innovation and technology and assist in team development growth. Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment and troubleshoot complex issues quickly and successfully handle multiple priorities. Ensure that work done by the Site Reliability team is executed to comply with the company’s internal compliance policy and directives. Identify work opportunities and prepare or assist with the preparation of technical proposals as required. Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

Utilize experience with analyzing existing programs and formulating logic for new systems to identify and proactively fix system issues through monitoring and early watch reports;

Utilize knowledge of architecting and building processes to improve reliability and scalability of products;

Utilize analyzing validation test data to determine whether internal systems or processes have met validation criteria and remove the discrepancies by building automated processes;

Utilize knowledge of a suite of technologies like (Revit, AutoCAD) their data pipelines hosted on AWS and validate the functionality of the services;

Utilize experience with collaborating with architects and the business to gather the right information and documenting the requirements to the same for Project team and handle the development in the better way;

Utilize experience with architecting and building the process with the right tools without the duplication effort in company for the customer satisfaction.

Utilize experience with coordinating and collaborating with different application teams to build the design of the product in the right way for customers;

Utilize knowledge of tools like SAP, SFDC, AWS, Marketo, Sendwiths, Java, Service-Now, etc. to design, develop, modify, debug, test and validate products.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,200 - $175,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
