Description
Travel the US with our Hospitality team to different PGA Golf Tournaments, International Boat Shows, & more. The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for running the operation of the concession stands including the point of sales, staff, cooking and prep areas. The Concessions Supervisor will oversee stands cleanliness/neatness, product quality, customer service, stand safety, food safety, and alcohol service. The ideal candidate for this position has strong food & beverage experience or learns quickly by doing, is able to think on their feet, and has a flexible and positive personality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist, in a timely manner, in determining appropriate quantity of food and beverage items for cooking, baking and serving; adjust and extend recipes as needed; maintain food & beverage quality standards including appearance and nutritional requirements
Monitor temperatures of food to assure safety and quality of standards are met; monitor water temperatures to assure proper temperature for sanitizing
Merchandise and serve food and beverage according to established guidelines and replenish as needed
Clean equipment, utensils and appliances and properly store food and beverage supplies; assure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures and regulations; clean refrigerators and storerooms as required
Assist in storing unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers; utilize proper methods of handling foods to be stored
Assist with inventory and maintain routine records as directed; prepare records of food and beverage Be clean, neat and professionally dressed at all times
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
After completion of training you will have gained the ability to work independently and effectively manage a stand
Utilize a grill to cook food to the proper temperature
Train and oversee workers to ensure daily success of the food stand
Operate and oversee the POS program/cashiers and troubleshoot as needed
Performs other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Experience & Specialized Skills:
Experience with food & beverage is strongly preferred, roles in fast casual dining, concessions supervisor, high volume food prep positions will translate well to this role
Ability to travel domestically throughout the year Trips are usually from 4-7 days in length
Flexibility and a positive attitude
The ability to work well with others and take initiative to succeed individually
Knowledge of best food safety practices
Knowledge of cooking food and utilizing a grill
Familiarity with POS systems, knowledge of Square is preferred

Work Environment
This position is in a variety of elements - in a temporary tent structure or outdoors. This role is highly physical with an emphasis on organization, food production, and overseeing a team in a fast-paced work environment. This position will be moving in and out of temporary structures and carrying items across miscellaneous terrains.
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing and walking for long periods of time and the work days can be long and demanding The hours worked depends on the event and service times, but expectations can be 8-14 hours/day
Longevity to lift things and move across uneven ground
Ability to lift 30 pounds

This is considered a part-time role with flexible scheduling.
