Director of Corporate Development
Our client, a large chemical manufacturer, has an opening for a Director of Corporate Development at their international headquarters in Houston. Candidate will lead global corporate development looking at a broad range of global investment opportunities across the company's business sectors.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of the (5) Year Strategic Plan including execution for the global business.
• Supporting the coordination of corporate functions (legal, technology, human resources, finance, tax, etc.) through all aspects of the M&A process, including origination, letter of intent, due diligence process, and signing final documents.
• Increase Plant Utilization and Expansion.
• Develop & Lead Specialty Projects - JV's, collaboration with other corporate subsidiaries, Competitor (Co-Manufacturing), etc.
• Lead the organization's expansion into key international markets.
• Help formulate distribution and sales strategies.
• Organize commercial content and communication.
Experience:
• 5-10 years in a Chemical Manufacturing role
• BS Chemical Engineering and MBA+
• 5+ years in a Business Role (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, etc.) with some international experience a plus
• Merger and Acquisition experience a plus
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation techniques
