Seeking Director, Fixed & Variable Operations to oversee 2 existing dealerships, in addition to leading new dealership launches across the US with the opportunity to advance to Chief Operating Officer. Up to 50% travel required during new launches.

10-15 years' working for a large dealer conglomerate, with experience in both fixed and variable operations
Hands-on leadership experience within a service department
Full understanding of running automotive dealerships, including parts, service, and sales.
Based in Dallas (or willing to relocate) with ability to travel up to 50% for new dealership launches.
Key Responsibilities - Director, Fixed & Variable Operations | Truck Dealer Group
Develop and implement strategic plans to successfully open and operate multiple semi-truck dealership locations in Dallas and across the US
Provide leadership and direction to location managers and staff to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, including sales, service, parts, and administrative functions.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate and partner with VP Sales to develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer acquisition initiatives to drive sales growth and market share.
Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and management processes to ensure adequate stock levels, optimize inventory turnover, and minimize carrying costs.
Champion a customer-centric culture and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards, resolving customer issues promptly, and fostering positive relationships with clients.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, and implement measures to mitigate operational risks.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate employees to foster a high-performance culture, promote teamwork, and support career development and succession planning.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize resource utilization.
Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics, operational updates, and strategic initiatives for senior management, and facilitate open communication and collaboration across departments.
