Requirement: Candidates must have Firewall experience Key Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) with a solid network security background, particularly with Palo Alto's Global Protect VPN, Prisma Access cloud, and NGFWs.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot a wide range of network security platforms and VPN technologies including Palo Alto, f5, AWS, and Cisco.
Build, migrate, and support enterprise VPN platforms and systems for Desktop (macOS, Windows) & Mobile (iOS, Android), and/or SASE–based solutions by testing proof of concept and deploying security solutions.
Problem–solve in a complex and dynamic environment.
Leverage network security management tools and perform packet analysis during incident/problem resolution.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), effectively communicating technical information to various individuals, peers, and stakeholders.
Apply excellent analytical and problem–solving skills to detect, communicate, and resolve issues while adopting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to optimize IT network availability and performance.
Manage time effectively across multiple projects and distributed teams.
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting–edge technologies, inclusion, teamwork, self–organization, and diversity.
Update and contribute to living engineering documentation.
Be prepared to work flexible hours and adapt to changing environments.
Perform physical work involving lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs, including moving, racking, and installing equipment as necessary.
Possess knowledge of IPSec tunnels and encryption, VPCs, VRF, TCP/IP, OSI model, IPv6, cloud–based network security architecture, VPN deployment strategies & migrations, data traffic manipulation, Proxy, Load Balancers, DNS/Route53.
Optional: Knowledge of general network concepts, protocols, scripting experience, CM tools (including Ansible and Terraform), and various AWS tools and services.
