The Warehouse/Shop Lead will with Shop and General Managers to improve overall warehouse organization and flow; load and offload glass; clean, rack and inspect all incoming glass for defects and workmanship; order and keep materials stocked at all times; learn and master what supplies are needed for different types of glass installations, in order to be effective in preparing for next day's routes; work closely with Dispatcher to stage next day's routes; responsible for checking tools in and out of supply cage; inventory tracking with software program; assist glaziers when necessary; glass deliveries when needed.
Job Requirements:
Experience in glass handling preferred.
Good driving record and insurable.
Able to safely lift up to 75lbs daily.
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and drive for constant improvement.
Ability to embrace and thrive in a very-fast moving environment.
Able to manage time effectively with little to no supervision.
Enjoys organizing and tracking parts and materials.
Has vision and process to improve the stocking and flow of a warehouse.
Exemplify our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Schedule and track vehicle maintenance for technicians.
