Must have CRM experience

Strategic thinking - ability to take an idea and build out a full brief and experiment plan

Our Manager, Retention role is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-impact business with a high-performing team. You’ll have the support of dedicated cross-functional resources to help you build and showcase your strategic abilities, while maintaining an owner-operator mindset by being hands on in our systems.
Own automated, always-on marketing communications focused on driving activation & engagement in all areas of the user journey from conception to execution
Formulate creative, data-driven tests that produce key insights and measurable impact
Conceptualize and define program measurement (including utilization & driving revenue)
Identify key audience segments, map the customer journey and establish key intervention points and communication strategies to get users more engaged and active on Strava
Take a hands-on approach to bringing your strategies to life; building campaigns and automation journeys, program briefs, reading experiment findings, and socializing results internally.
Consult on marketing initiatives focused on driving engagement & activation to ensure best practices in measurement and have visibility to understand how campaigns feed into automated work
Partner closely with teams including research, product, design and marketing to ground the comms strategy in the athlete experience.

We’re excited about you because:
You have 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or CRM
You are a strategic thinker with the ability to take an idea and build out a full brief and experiment plan
Adept at technical troubleshooting and a problem solver
Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to effectively link between teammates and cross-functional partners across the organization
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Collaborative mindset
Comfort in a fast-paced environment
You have experience working in marketing automation tools such as Iterable
