This position is located in the greater Seattle area and works through a hybrid work environment.
A few areas a new Business Analyst will be responsible for include:
Working with business customers to understand existing processes and problems as well as new requirements and then apply knowledge of the application suite and available data sources to develop improved processes and system specifications.
Bringing a continuous improvement mentality and sense of curiosity to daily activities.
Transition effectively between business and technical perspectives, providing customers (Business and IT) with explanations relevant to them.
Apply appropriate time management skills to effectively deliver solutions on schedule.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years Property and Casualty insurance industry experience - as an IT Business Analyst or in Product Management/Underwriting - required
Must be able to demonstrate experience working in a Property and Casualty insurance Business Analyst role in resume
Demonstrated capacity for requirements development and information processing.
Driven by creativity, curiosity, and a desire for accuracy.
A willingness to step outside primary responsibilities to contribute to the team & to learn property and casualty commercial lines
Project Management experience - project management tools and methodologies (Agile)
Insurance software experience - Guidewire, Duck creek etc.
Experience in writing basic SQl scripting.
Comprehensive Benefits:
Pay Range: $61,692-84,510 depending on experience
Flexible hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in Seattle office required)
