Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team of experts. You will work on a wide range of projects involving network architecture, security, and optimization, contributing to the success of government agencies' missions.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions that meet the specific needs and security requirements of government clients.

Network Security: Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard sensitive government data.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and perform proactive maintenance to ensure optimal network reliability.

Network Optimization: Identify opportunities for network optimization and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and performance.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, cybersecurity experts, and project managers, to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.

Compliance: Ensure network infrastructure compliance with government regulations, security policies, and best practices.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a government contracting or federal agency environment.

Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Strong understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.

Experience with network security tools and practices, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.

Knowledge of government compliance standards, including FISMA, NIST, and DISA STIGs.

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
