We are currently seeking to hire a Mastercam Programmer to become an integral part of our development team! You will design and test operating systems-level software and network distribution software. ** The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6am-5:30pm and Saturday's from 7am-12pm. During peak season, employees are required to work Mon-Fri from 6am-7:30pm and Saturday's from 7am-12pm. Pay rate $28-33 BOE **
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage computing systems software.
Research and update network distribution software for optimal performance
Design embedded software to assist with system automation
Perform routine software maintenance
Document all programming tasks and procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve any code issues
Operates a Forklift and lifting devices for the movement of parts.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience with Mastercam programming.
Proficient in CAD/CAM software to optimize geometry and part features for machining, and communication of any design changes or modifications back to applicable engineers or drafting personnel
Previous experience in software development, computer programming, or other related fields
Ability to understand and read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra to calculate material fabrication.
Knowledge and application of precise measuring instruments and the application of such instruments, including but not limited to calipers, ID & OG micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
Knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various
machines.
