DSFederal, Inc. is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team as a Policy Analyst supporting our government client. This role will support data sharing policy analysis, implementation activities, operational improvements and customer and stakeholder support activities related to enhancing ethical implementation of customer data sharing policies, including genomic data sharing policy implementation, as well as broader data sharing policy implementation and oversight activities across the program.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses
Providing support on development of training, compliance and informational materials related to genomic data sharing implementation activities based on understanding of the customer's data sharing policy landscape
Consulting and collaborating with appropriate stakeholders
Developing requirements, in partnership with data repository colleagues, to facilitate data sharing
Developing standard operating procedures necessary for supporting policy operations
Developing project plans, milestones, and timelines and report on status
Supporting data management incident and customer service activities
Conducting reviews and analysis of guidance documents and prepare reports and presentations for various stakeholders including leadership
Providing overall support to the team
Requirements Required Experience:
3+ years' relevant experience
Experience facilitating working groups of subject matter experts preferred
Experience with human subjects' protections, work as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) analyst and/or clinical research administration or management or regulatory and health or science policy analysis experience
Experience conducting data-gathering and data analysis activities utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods
Experience developing standard operating procedures in the context of clinical research or human subjects' protections
Required Education:
A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Public Health, Bioethics or relevant Scientific Discipline required
Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and project organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team of subject matter experts and collaborate effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
