Health Policy Analyst

As the Health Policy Analyst, you will support an enterprise pharmaceutical company to support the North American Regulatory Policy team. You will play a key role in the evaluation of legislative requirements to ensure FDA compliance. In this role, you will gather and analyze data to understand and increase effectiveness of current health policies and target problem areas. You will also engage in creating strategy on key business decisions and policy changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience collaborating with FDA/Health Government Authorities and conceptualizing findings
Knowledge of health care policy, health care workforce issues, and health care finance at the state and federal level, to include both regulatory and statutory requirements
Passion for healthcare & pharmaceutical industry
Strong Critical Thinking
Good Communication
Responsibilities:
Evaluation of FDA implementation of legislative requirements in 21st Century Cures, FDA Reauthorization Act and PDUFA VI.
Attendance at regulatory focused public meetings on topics of relevance to Bayer and development of appropriate internal communications regarding information learned.
Gathering and analysis of data to understand the overall effectiveness of current health policies and identify any problem areas.
Assessing health care initiatives to determine cost/benefit ratio, overall program effectiveness, and more.
Assisting in the development of new strategies and policies that can modify or improve upon existing policies in a way that leads to improved results.
Consulting with other health professionals and policy makers to develop the best possible initiatives and programs for the public in general.
