A key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects in the San Francisco area. This individual will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgetary constraints. The VP of Construction will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.

Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.

Monitor project budgets and expenses, implementing cost-saving measures where possible.

Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals.

Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.

Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
