POSITION SUMMARY:
Ready to join a five-time US Best Managed Company award winner? Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), a member of the Kent Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their thriving team as a Beverage Alcohol Products Sales Executive!
As we continue to experience accelerated growth, this critical role will be responsible for the marketing and sales of beverage-grade alcohol. This territory includes all of North America, but the main focus will be in the St. Louis, Missouri, Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky areas.

The successful candidate will ideally be located in the Midwest
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Marketing and sale of products assigned to the Alcohol Products group
• Report on customer activities including competitive activity, new applications, industry developments, and market trends
• Maintains up-to-date sales records and information in CRM
• Participates in all company related events
• Establish and maintain customer relationships
• Work cross functionally within all areas within customer departments to achieve high level of service
• Plans territorial coverage and sales calls to maximize efficiency
• Develops and maintains contracts necessary to general customer and competitive intelligence
• Develops strategies to maintain and build business at key accounts
• Maintains memberships and participates in trade association activities
• Develop and maintain a high degree of product and market knowledge
• Assures customer compliance with all contracts / supply agreements
• Conducts market surveys and other special assignments as directed by Manager
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business administration, or related technical discipline preferred
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5 years minimum in selling quality ethyl alcohol, industrial chemicals and specialties or related experience desired
• Experience developing and implementing targeted sales strategies
• Experience understanding and leveraging market dynamics
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to excel independently within an assigned sales territory
• Driven to achieve performance goals and objectives both long and short term
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work and perform within the framework of the Company’s long term objectives
TRAVEL: Travel Required (50%)
Travel may include, but is not limited to, current and prospective customer locations, business meetings, training, seminars, conferences, and tradeshows.
