We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who will drive the creation and execution of the marketing strategy for the US business unit at Columbus. We are seeking to fill this position with a leader who is motivated by setting and driving goals. In this mission critical position, you will direct marketing and agency efforts to plan and provide strategic and practical advice to boost our company’s marketing efforts. The Marketing Consultant will work in collaboration with a global marketing team across countries and business lines.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and knowledgeable in everyday marketing activities. We want to see excellent communicators, with lots of enthusiasm, someone who is ready to make a difference. The goal is to ensure that our marketing operations will engage our customers and outperform our competition.
Note: This is a remote opportunity and can be based from any location in the United States. The position requires a regular schedule during US business hours #LI-remote
Position Responsibilities :
Responsible for budgeting, planning, and execution of US go-to-market strategy.
Create and execute US campaigns with the goal of creating better brand awareness in niche areas which over time can be done with the goal of creating leads and acquiring new customers; collaborate with marketing colleagues in Europe.
Develop messaging and positioning of Columbus Unique Value Propositions when it comes to campaign planning and execution.
Direct Microsoft partner marketing by working with our global marketing, sales, and delivery teams.
Implement lead generation, niche prospecting processes, and workflow for implementations to sales, managed services team or other practice to drive business growth for Columbus.
Market externally through online efforts, events, community, and influencer channels.
Lead customer and prospect email nurturing best practices by collaborating with solution specialists and our managed services team.
Guide writers and designers on industry specific messaging and content.
Prepare reports and marketing presentations.
Skill Requirements & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in (Business Management, Marketing, or related discipline).
7+ years of related marketing industry experience specifically working with B2B enterprise solution services, Microsoft Dynamics or similar platform in the hi-tech space. IT consultancy.
Advanced level of experience with marketing plan and program development based on business objectives and demonstrating measurable outcomes.
Proven experience managing and running multiple B2B campaigns simultaneously.
