About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join their Finance leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key member, overseeing and directing all financial accounting activities, including GL accounting, payroll, equity, AP, AR, and SEC reporting. This role requires a professional with a strong background in managing accounting and reporting for a publicly traded company, ensuring compliance with SEC, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley S404. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be responsible for maintaining effective internal controls, managing the accounting close and consolidation for both U.S. and foreign entities, and leading the accounting team in the development and implementation of company-wide accounting policies and practices.Applicants for the Vice President, Corporate Controller position at the company should have a B.S. or Masters in Accounting, a CPA certification, and at least 15 years of related experience. Experience with Oracle is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the field, strong leadership and technical accounting skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a public company environment. Responsibilities also include overseeing customer collections, treasury function, and cash management, as well as managing the relationship with external auditors. The role demands a professional with a focus on career growth and enhancement for the accounting team, and the ability to collaborate with other members of the department and the broader organization on financial operations.
