About the Role
The Company is seeking a Corporate Controller to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's growth, overseeing all accounting operations, providing guidance on accounting policies and treatment, defining accounting processes and procedures, and managing accounting systems. This role is pivotal in enhancing the Finance team and requires a leader who can manage an offshore accounting team, lead the monthly close process, oversee technical accounting, and coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit. The Corporate Controller will also be responsible for managing accounting operational processes, stock administration, relevant stock comp expense accounting, and working with external tax firms for timely filing of all required tax returns.Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with an advanced accounting degree preferred, and a CPA required. A minimum of 15 years of work experience is necessary, with at least five years leading accounting teams as a controller. Strong technical accounting knowledge in revenue recognition and ASC606 for a SaaS company, as well as proficiency with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or similar accounting, billing, and planning software, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work well under pressure, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience in a startup environment or a SaaS technology company. Experience in a public company or a transition from a private to public company is also preferred.
