The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

As the Manager, Auto, Auto Liability, and General Liability (AGL) Claims, you will manage the overall financial, operational, and customer service performance of Auto, Auto Liability, and General Liability Define Auto, Auto Liability, and General Liability claims segmentation criteria and provide appropriate resourcing.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and refine best practices for Auto, Auto Liability, and General Liability claims handling

Develop, implement, and manage continuous improvement efforts to improve outcomes and efficiency

Build a pipeline of talent for the Claims organization

Manage expenses effectively including staff resource needs and operating budgets

Communicate the status of claims, reserving/loss payout, and customer experience trends to SLT and CI leadership

Direct and monitor activities to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications Minimum of 10+ years of casualty or casualty adjacent claims leadership including experience with Litigated claims and complex coverage matters

Advanced degree a plus (MBA/JD)

Proven track record of achieving key metrics targets

Experience with Client / Broker Relationship Management

Experience leading large teams (150 or more) with a focus on leading leaders

Talent multiplier - track record of talent development and placement

Ability to articulate current casualty trends and insights with a solution oriented approach

Curious mindset and adaptable

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and comfort with shared accountability
