Objectives of this role
Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems
Strengthen and grow relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers through timely payments and collections
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
Comply with national and local regulations
Responsibilities for Accounting Associate
Implement Corporate financial procedures and processes
Supervision of purchasing
Strategic planning globally with Senior Management on corporate goals and initiatives
Assist on increase profitability to corporate targets
Assist with vendor discounts/new vendors
Quarterly/Annual review oversite
H/R initiatives with GM
Financials: Accounts payable, Cash reconciliation, Maintain reserve account, Record all deposits, Maintain/check/register and reconcile operating accounts, Accounts receivable, General ledger reconciliation, Work in progress, Quarterly/annual financial statements, State income tax monthly reporting
Provide President weekly A/R, A/P, CPO/Add Services/T&S reports and review weekly case reports
Assist on monthly financials
File monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax for all states company is registered in or doing business in with the support of financial consultant when needed
Employee expense review/reconciliation
Employee orientations administration
Bi-monthly payroll via ADP
Maintain vacation (PTO) records through ADP or other consultants
Maintain insurance records, delete/add employees, collect employee contributions
Manage/reconcile employee advances

Qualifications for Accounts Manager
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficient skills in ADP, Studio Designer Financial Web Platform, Office 354 Platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the use of email, TEAMS and phone systems
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals
Knowledge of the architectural/design industry a plus
