Position Overview:

We are seeking a program manager who is passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission-critical challenges. In this important role, you will be engaging directly with our customers, managing project timelines and budgets, and working hand in hand with our engineering, finance and production partners to deliver customer mission success. As a program manager, you will be the hub of critical relationships powering the engine of growth and success at ARKA Group LP.

Basic Qualifications:

Lead efforts in the satellite and launch communication domain from bid estimation through delivery and support to the delight and success of our customers

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, executing, and instilling programmatic controls of engineering and production programs, and supporting an environment of partnership with their peers

Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached, successfully managing budget and funding channels

Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals and objectives

Work with other project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department

Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

Support bid and proposal efforts designing the space solutions of tomorrow based on exceptional past performance and strong customer relationships

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering-related field, Business Administration

5+ years in a project management role (preference given to those with program management experience) plus 5 years of other related experience.

Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of project management experience

Experience in satellite ground systems

Experience working with the US Space Force, NASA, NOAA, and/or NRO

Software development experience

Proven proposal writing experience

Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

This position is based out of ARKA's Colorado Springs, CO campus. If you like city life, but also enjoy the great outdoors, Colorado Springs is the place for you.
