We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage multiple projects within our organization. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects align with the strategic goals of the organization and are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record in program management.
Responsibilities
Program Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the program. Ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Strategic Planning: Develop program strategies and objectives in collaboration with senior management. Ensure programs support the overall business strategy.
Budget Management: Create and manage program budgets. Allocate resources effectively to ensure all projects are completed within budget constraints. Monitor and control expenditures.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines. Implement corrective actions to address any delays or issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews to identify and address any issues.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the program lifecycle and implement contingency plans as necessary.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners. Provide regular updates on program status, addressing any concerns and managing expectations.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on program status, including progress, challenges, and achievements. Ensure all program documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving program management processes and practices. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
5+ years of experience in program management or a related role.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is preferred.
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
