About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational financial activities of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, legal, and deal analysis. This role demands a leader with a strong background in business intelligence, big data, and M&A activity, who can actively influence the company's direction, growth, and product development. Key responsibilities for the VP of Finance and Accounting include overseeing financial administration, policy development, budget planning, risk management, and presenting financial reports. The role also involves managing relationships with financial institutions, driving strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.Applicants for the VP of Finance and Accounting position at the company should have a BS in accounting or finance, with a preference for candidates holding a CPA or MBA. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in operational finance roles, particularly within a technology company, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of M&A transactions, a strong understanding of business intelligence, and experience in a high-growth, multi-revenue business environment. The role demands an individual with exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
