About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Finance for its Global Data Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the data office, which has a significant proforma budget. This role is pivotal in partnering with the Global Data Officer and the leadership team to provide financial insights that support the strategic priority of real-time data availability for business decisions. The VP will also be deeply involved in the financial aspects of the multi-year data group business strategy, in line with the company's digital transformation, and will work closely with the Transformation Financial Officer to ensure alignment and support execution.Key responsibilities for the VP, Finance - Global Data Office include the development of data financial strategy, leading financial planning processes, and ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial reporting. The role requires a strong focus on decision support, including financial analysis, modeling, and insights to aid in the decision-making process for business cases, investment analysis, and resource allocation. The VP will also be involved in governance, ensuring compliance with technology finance policies, and will collaborate across various functional organizations to drive outcomes and support the overall data strategy.The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record in financial leadership, particularly in a technology or data-related environment. A background in strategic financial planning and analysis, as well as experience in a role that required collaboration with technology, finance, and data leaders, is essential. The role demands a high level of involvement in the company's digital transformation, so experience in this area would be a significant advantage.
