About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Applications to oversee the management of business applications, systems, and related activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that applications meet business requirements, identifying opportunities for process efficiencies, and aligning with corporate objectives. This role involves managing and developing talent to execute projects, supporting a robust portfolio of business applications, and maintaining security and compliance measures in a hybrid cloud environment. The VP will also be involved in planning and analysis, project management, application development, reporting services, and internal operations.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, or a related field, and a minimum of 12 years' experience in managing and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. A strong working knowledge of ERP platforms such as Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Yardi, MRI, or similar systems is required. The role demands solid management skills, experience in leading ERP upgrades, and a track record in designing and implementing complex databases and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relational databases, database architecture, data access tools, and experience in vendor management and negotiations. Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and business needs.
