About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for IT Applications and Architecture to play a pivotal role in the evolution of its IT department and the execution of a global business transformation program. This strategic leadership position involves developing and managing information technology strategies that align with the business, leading a large team of IT professionals, and ensuring the support and enhancement of existing applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for enterprise architecture, including chairing the Architecture Review Board, and must have a strong background in SAP, with S/4HANA experience being highly desired.Key qualifications for this role at The Company include a demonstrated customer focus, at least 10 years of experience in team management across various IT functions, and a proven track record in business transformation programs. The role demands a leader who can connect technology with business, maintain operational excellence, and ensure compliance with regulations. Experience in IT/OT, including MES, ICS, DCS, OSI, or Data Historian, is also required. The Vice President will be expected to collaborate with business leaders, plan and realize a technology roadmap, and manage multi-platform environments with geographically distributed resources. Additionally, the role involves effective vendor management, particularly with Application Managed Services outsourcing partners, and a broad understanding of key business functions.
