Job Overview A law firm seeks a finance associate or senior associate for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in debt finance transactions and a strong background in representing various financial entities.
Duties Represent commercial bank and private credit lenders in debt financing transactions.
Advise private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on financing matters.
Engage in senior-secured, junior-secured, and mezzanine lending activities.
Participate in acquisition and leveraged financings.
Contribute to structured financings and credit investments.
Requirements Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
Experience with private credit and alternative capital transactions preferred.
Familiarity with data center financing is a plus.
Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
Certifications Bar admission in Texas or eligibility to waive in.
Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
