Become part of our TEAM on exciting projects such as the New Haven Hartford Springfield Rail Corridor (NHHS) Design, Waterbury Mixmaster Interchange Replacement Program, Gold Star Bridge, Alt Delivery On-Call and the Walk Bridge Program.

Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives.

Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline.

Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or

Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or

PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Primary focus areas of expertise will include

Mentoring of Junior Staff

Roadway Drainage Design

Traffic Engineering

Pavement Section Design

Complex Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Design

Follow and achieve project scope, schedule and budget in accordance with our quality procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Professional Engineer (PE) certification

Experience working with CTDOT a plus

Minimum of 6 of experience in transportation, highway design

Proficient in Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D

Experience with common industry hydraulics/hydrology software

Locations:

The approximate pay range for Connecticut is $100,502.72 - $171,487.15. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
