Role Overview
As a Global Product Manager , you will be a key stakeholder overseeing Dynatect's portfolio of products spanning across North America and partner with our global sales and manufacturing facilities.You'll develop and execute key strategies to support Dynatect's commercial manufacturing and market presence to:
The Global Product Manager's primary responsibilities are:
Develop global growth strategies by vertical and product. Manage annual sales and orders goals. Report out monthly on progress against goal and develops countermeasures to return to plan where necessary.
Develop and manage front end analytics to drive business growth through price, feature, and relationship modifications.
Establish price strategies in global markets to maximize margin while achieving top line growth objectives.Work with Pricing Manager and Sales Leadership to establish product/market/customer specific pricing actions.
Generate the product line level orders forecast for products in support of the SIOP process. Work with Operations to set and manage Market Expected Lead-times, stocking, and inventory plans to support product growth plans.
Implement improvements in quote-to-order process to provide industry leading customer service
Establish and monitor metrics to quantify the product groups performance
Establish and maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors including strengths and weaknesses, business model, and products.
Determine addressable market size - Ensure market sizing analysis drives decisions about which market segments to pursue
Work with the Inside Sales and MarCom team to develop product training for Sales Management and Sales Representatives. Keep internal knowledge resources updated.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage team of Client Solution Engineers responsible for day-to-day quotes and customer inquiries.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sales Management and/or related degree.
Minimum of 8 -10 years in a related position within a related industry segment
Experience in Product Strategy formulation and execution
Strong Analytical and Leadership Skills
Prior Management of People experience desirable
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point); ERP experience.
TRAVEL: Approximately 10% travel required to attend customer events, trade shows, and business related functions.
