Global Product Manager

The Global Product Manager is responsible for the worldwide growth of Dynatect business in a specific product group(s). Individual will possess an in-depth knowledge of products, applications, industry terminology, customers, and competition. A successful Global Product Manager will develop and implement Regional Growth Strategies for assigned products inclusive of vertical markets and segmentation i.e. OEM vs MRO.
To accomplish this it will require them to:
1. Develop global product strategies across product families ensuring the use of market research, knowledge, competitive insight, and collaboration to create long-term growth and market share gain.
2. Manage product/project portfolio/prioritization through market opportunity research, VOC, specification development, business case analysis, product testing, and tollgate process.
3. Manage product and customer mix to develop options around build/buy/partner decisions to extend product, control costs, establish value, and meet market timing objectives and performance metrics.
4. Manage profitable of pricing decisions.
PRIMARY ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Develop global growth strategies by vertical and product markets. Manage annual sales and orders goals. Report out monthly on progress against goals and develops countermeasures to return to plan where necessary.
o Develop and manage front end analytics to drive business growth through price, feature and relationship modifications.
o Establish price strategies in global markets to maximize margin while achieving top line growth objectives. Work with Pricing Manager and Sales leadership to establish product/market/customer specific pricing actions.
o Generate the product line level orders forecast for products in support of the SIOP process. Work with Operations to set and manage Market Expected Lead-times, stocking and inventory plans to support product growth plans.
o Implement improvements in quote-to-order process to provide industry leading customer service.
o Establish and monitors metrics to quantify the product groups performance.
o Establish and maintains in-depth knowledge of competitors strengths and weaknesses, business model and products.
o Determine addressable market-size. Ensure market sizing analysis drives decisions about which market segments to pursue.
o Work with Inside Sales and MarCom team to develop product training for Sales Management and Sales Representatives. Keep internal knowledge resources updated.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Maintain end-to-end accountability for high impact quotes including delivery
o Work with Business Development team to establish and manage multi-generational roadmap, provide technical expertise and insight that drive product development
o Develop Dynatect's "value proposition", products and services
o Work with MarCom to manage product collateral, whitepapers, customer testimonials, tradeshow content and advertising while also assessing their success against plan
o Drive efficiencies and effectiveness as they relate to the development, fulfillment and adoption of the commercial process.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Near term future based on organizational structure and capability
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
o Bachelor's degree or higher-level education in relevant field
o Minimum of 8 years in a related position within a related industry segment
o Experience in Product Strategy formulation and execution
o Strong analytical and leadership skills
o Results oriented self-starter who possesses exceptional self-management skills and a high level of personal accountability
o Proven project management and time management skills to successfully manage multiple priorities.
o Entrepreneurial nature; not afraid to lead change or be creative in problem resolution
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written
o Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office package) with the ability to create and present information via Excel and Power point or other data reporting systems
o Experience working in an ERP/MRP system
