Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, technical field or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
* Experience creating, maintaining, and extending compute infrastructure for Semiconductor and System Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
* Experience with technical program management on cross-functional projects.
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience with commercial or academic distributed Grid systems and related Cloud integrations.
* Experience with one or more schedulers (e.g. PBS and derivatives, HTCondor, Data Synapse, Slurm, LSF, Grid Engine, derivatives, etc.) and Orchestration systems (e.g. Elasticluster, DAGMan, Pegasus, GlideinWMS, Cromwell, etc).
* Experience with filers and data access systems (e.g. NFS servers, Elastifile, Avere, glusterfs, Isilon, Bluearc, Lustre, Ceph, HDFS, dCache, etc.) and cluster-oriented network topologies and solutions based on Ethernet or InfiniBand.
* Experience with cluster deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Jenkins).
As an Infrastructure Cloud Consultant, you will work directly with some of Googles strategic customers on infrastructure projects that transform business. You will provide consulting, program management, and technical expertise on customer engagements, while working with customer executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Googles Cloud Platform. In this role, you will work closely with key Google partners, to deliver joint consulting services, providing technical guidance and best infrastructure practices. You will travel approximately 30% of the time for customer engagements.

* Work with customer technical leads, customer executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement.
* Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
* Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful customer outcomes.
* Understand and clearly articulate customer needs, and help shape our long-term product strategy.
