As the Director of Product Management, you will be a key business leader and part of a talented team supplying precision vacuum pressure measurement instruments to the semiconductor, medical, and industrial equipment markets. You will be responsible for product strategy, roadmap, sales pipeline, and new market growth opportunities. You will work with key customers and internal stakeholders to develop and lead strategies to maximize growth, profit, and customer satisfaction. In this exciting, fast paced role you will report directly to the Business Unit General Manager for Direct Pressure.
You Will Make an Impact By:
‘Owning’ team, product, and overall business success
Leading the Business Unit Product Management team of 4
Managing the strategic planning process, product portfolio, product lifecycle, new product requirements definition, and pricing strategies
Analyzing markets to understand current and emerging trends, customer value drivers, total addressable market, and market shares of key competitors
Developing positioning and messaging to differentiate products in the market; create customer-facing presentations and product collateral material
Developing close relationships with key customers to understand their evolving needs and capture new business opportunities
Leading cross-functional teams to define, develop and release innovative products delivering market advantages in performance and value
Working closely with and providing direction to Sales teams in capturing business
Skills You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Physics or related field, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
12+ years of experience:
5+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Marketing of technology products, or related customer-facing experience with technology products
3+ years of experience with OEM products
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%
Robust business strategy development and financial analysis skills
Preferred:
Semiconductor capital equipment industry knowledge including semiconductor processing techniques preferred, general industrial and life sciences applications knowledge desired
Strong presentation and communication skills
Interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with customers and within MKS
