Research Data Analyst_

The Department of Geriatric Psychiatry is seeking a **_Research Data Analyst_** to prove statistical programming and data analysis for an ongoing cohort study of Dementia progression and related projects.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Create/build and maintain databases, records, and files.
+ Generate and maintain database documentation.
+ Produce and maintain documentation of statistical methods and computing code.
+ Incorporate library and web resources to research statistical methods.
+ Merge files, create and record variables.
+ Interact with co-investigators to plan data analyses and interpret results.
+ Perform data analysis and interpret findings using knowledge of programming and statistics.
+ Generate reports, figures, and tables for manuscripts, presentations, and posters.
+ Participate in the drafting of methods and results sections of manuscripts and editing of complete manuscripts.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
+ Three years related experience.
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficiency with one or more statistical packages (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R, S+), facility with MSOffice, and strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
+ Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
+ Experience in psychiatry, neurology or dementia research preferred.
+ MS, MPH, or MHS in relevant field preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $47,500 - $83,300 Annually ($50,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
