About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Crypto Investment Risk to lead all investment risk functions for its digital products and capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively measuring, mitigating, and communicating investment risk in line with the firm's strategic vision and risk appetite. This includes providing risk information to leadership, monitoring and managing risks associated with digital assets, conducting risk modeling and reporting, and working closely with business leaders to assess market risk. The role also involves playing a leading role in investment risk discussions with regulators, developing and maintaining investment risk frameworks, and continuously refining risk policies and procedures.Applicants must have a Master's degree, with a preference for engineering or science-related degrees, and at least 10 years of risk management leadership experience, including 5 years in the digital/crypto industry. In-depth expertise in investment risk, blockchain transactions, and the unique risks associated with crypto assets is essential. The role requires strong proficiency in risk assessment, portfolio management, and traditional financial risk management techniques, as well as the ability to simplify and communicate complex risk concepts. The ideal candidate will have superior analytical skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
