Job Description And Responsibilities
EVRAZ NA is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Portland, Oregon. The Business System Analyst determines business requirements by studying business processes, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats, and modeling requirements.
Engages developers to determine system limitations, relay end user needs, compile list of action items, and summarize current state
Interviews users to determine application needs, determine pain points of current process, as well as compile list of ideal or best practice working conditions
Sets expectations and develop priority list as well as breakdown wants versus needs. Follows up to ensure expectations are being met and change management adopted
Leads and manages multiple projects and act as liaison for end user and development teams
Develops and presents reports to management to support recommendations
UX Design: Leverages knowledge of IT infrastructure and available design tools to create modern UI for each area that allows users a clean, easy to use front end, that still provides all information and functionality that they require
Analyzes data use a multitude of organization tools to determine impactful insights
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Operations & Technology Management
Some Information Systems experience, including experience with UX design tools, presentation writing, and project management
Strong communication skills - both verbal and in writing with the ability to collaborate with both technical experts and end users
Strong analytical skills to help make recommendations for business system improvements
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional groups to build rapport and be the conduit for end users and the development teams, soliciting feedback throughout
Ability to diagnose and solve complex problems, and not settle for status quo when dealing with existing practices and processes
