We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in commercial interiors, specifically office fit-outs, corporate interiors, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating within a construction company environment, not solely an estimating firm.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate subcontractor bid lists and manage distribution of design documents.
Review and confirm incorporation of approved document revisions.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site walk-throughs, and evaluate existing conditions.
Perform quantity take-offs and provide pricing for value engineering.
Prepare subcontractor leveling sheets, evaluate scope inclusion, and address gaps.
Lead internal estimate review meetings and coordinate Operations input.
Develop, assemble, and revise bid documents for final submission.
Train and manage Estimators and support stakeholder relations.
Analyze cost data and provide input to constructability reviews.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Eight or more years of building construction experience, including knowledge of materials, systems, and market conditions.
Ability to work conceptually with minimal information and grasp owner/architect requirements quickly.
Creative problem-solving skills and concise project management approach.
Familiarity with Procurement, Cost, Accounting procedures.
Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Expertise in estimating documents and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Effective multitasking and meeting deadlines.
