Sales Director - On-Site in San Francisco, CA

We are working with an exciting, up and coming company in the alcoholic beverage industry that is looking to bring on a sales leader to champion the development of their sales strategy and outbound efforts. This role requires strategic oversight of sales activities, including direct management of sales strategies, budgeting, and team leadership across various distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the spirits market, especially with amaros and modifiers, and possess strong capabilities in strategic planning and multi-state distribution management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement national sales strategies and set performance targets.
Manage relationships with distributors, conduct training, and set up new partnerships.
Direct and oversee the sales team, hiring and training new staff as necessary.
Coordinate with marketing to support sales through promotions and events.
Actively participate in product tasting and other promotional activities to enhance brand presence.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in spirits sales and managing a national sales team.
Proficiency in VIP sales software, MS Office, QuickBooks, Asana, and Canva. Adobe Illustrator or InDesign skills are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
