Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting CITGO Non-Hydrocarbon (NHC) Procurement and Warehouses in the efforts to improve, standardize and streamline processes, systems, and controls to advance the Procurement and Warehouse departments in the competitive Oil and Gas industry.
This position supports the NHC Procurement and Supply Chain department by assisting in these primary areas: (1) implement systems to improve and standardize processes and controls; (2) review processes and make recommendations on improvements; (3) Knowledge of Material Master creation, modification and procurement master data management (4) identify the need to create/revise NHC Procurement procedures; (5) provide training/coaching on Procurement and Warehouse process and systems; (6) review activities for compliance with policies and procedures.
The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the corporate organization, as well as external vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree:
College Degree (Bachelors Level).
Masters Degree (Preferred).
The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is:
0-3 years.
List any specialized training or unique skills required:
Familiarity with the SAP or similar ERP. (preferred).
Experience in managing Material Catalog/Master Data (preferred).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent customer service skills.
Job Duties:
Support development of scope requirements for new or existing change in system functionalities and reports. Participate in and lead user testing. Assist in training users on such improvements. Ability to write functional and technical specification, test scripts and execute the test cycles.
Analyzes material specification knowledge to question incomplete or inaccurate specifications provided by the requestor. Train Procurement and Maintenance users on knowledge of materials and rental services, to improve the MM request and Service Master request processes.
Utilizes Master Data migration methodologies to help cleanse data and migrate it through the review process
Implement process and system improvements. This includes participation in the development of the design with the Business to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Provide on-going management of implemented processes and functionalities to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved. Perform data analysis to support business needs.
Identify and improve Procurement and Warehouse processes, procedure, and systems. Make recommendations to Procurement and Warehouse management team.
